For a great many years, I have been a huge fan of this franchise. My interest in the past few years in Mortal Kombat (and in gaming in general) has waned somewhat.
Until now.
Yes, news has reached me that a certain Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is in the works and, having seen previews and read about this game… I am terribly excited.
Some facts for those not yet in the know.
- This game will have ALL CHARACTERS from ALL PREVIOUS GAMES (except for Khameleon but no one cares about her and, besides, Chameleon (the bloke version that came first) is in it anyway.
- There is a Kreate A Player section which, as you can imagine, will give you full access to creating your own Kombatant. This also includes moves.
- Kreate A Fatality. Well reading about this function just made me blow a huge wad of cum all over the place. Kreate your own fatality!? Sweet mother of christ, just yes!
- Another installment of Konquest Mode. One that, according to early reports, will be much better than previous tries.
- Aerial Attacks. Basically, there is a better level of aerial attacking that in other 3d installments. In the first few 2d renditions, there was alot of aerial movement involved with general tactics. This was not the case when the franchise moved to 3d, which has always been a bit of a downer for all MK enthusiasts (such as yours truly). BUT NO LONGER! Aerial attacking will become a much greater aspect to the 3d series and, from the videos posted on IGN, I must say I have very high hopes on this.
So yes, now I am truely back to the mortal kombat realm. I am completely excited about everything Mortal Kombat again. So much so that, today, I bought this from Amazon. I also have several Mortal Kombat paraphernalia being watched on ebay. One of which ends in 7 mins 47 secs. I am so terribly excited, I will no doubt blog as to the outcome of various items I have my eye on but for now I shall bid farewell.
p.s. I WON! I should hopefully now receive the Mortal Kombat: Annihilation on DVD. No doubt I shall put my VHS version on there if it arrives all in one piece.
